Salt & Truth is in Production!

We were traveling last week to be on press for Salt & Truth. It was a great pleasure to work with Shelby Lee Adams on the printing of his fourth book and first published by Candela Books.

We once again printed with Meridian Printing in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Working with Danny Frank was a pleasure and at the same time as our book was on the press, Lee Friedlander was on the neighboring press producing a 400+ page book of his self-portrait work.  That was a little mind-blowing really.

So the next stop for the book is Acme Bookbinding is and we have now started in earnest trying to pull together our promotional materials and are near ready to launch for sales of both the book and the limited editions of Salt & Truth.  If there are any questions or if you are interested in a promotional copy of the book then please drop me a line at elgordo@candelabooks.com with info as to your company or website.

Look for an early availability of Salt & Truth – first week in October is our best guess at the moment though we will be making books available for a couple of independent booksignings a little earlier.  It is going to be a beautiful book.  We are very happy to be able to contribute in a small way to Shelby’s great career.  Stay tuned…
