These works blur the boundaries between the observed and imagined, the artist and the machine. Machine Vision will be on view between Friday, March 3rd and Saturday, April 29th.

Blue Hour Artist Feature: Raymond Thompson Jr

Candela Books is looking for photography by artists whose work features their own family for inclusion in a hardcover book to be released in November 2023.

Candela Gallery is excited to open the new season with All the Orchids are Fine by Nadiya I. Nacorda. Drawing from lived experience and the collective memories and stories passed on through the generations of her Xhosa and Philippine family, Nacorda's photographs and experimental film work broaden the notion of historical inheritance(s) while exploring themes of girlhood, womanhood, and mothering.
