Candela Gallery is excited to announce our thirteenth annual UnBound! Exhibition. The selected and invited artists for UnBound13! will have works on display at Candela Gallery from Friday, July 5th - Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. Featured works will also be viewable (and shoppable) on our website.
This summer group exhibition is typically our only open call of the year and is dedicated to featuring a wide range of photographic artworks and artist books from 40-50 fine art photographers. We are proud of UnBound's mission to generate opportunities and exposure beyond the traditional group or juried show by providing a collection opportunity for select artists.
Don’t forget to join us for the annual fundraising gala on July 27th. This year, guests can buy single or double tickets, in addition to sponsorship tables to support artists and bring friends!

The Candela Collection
During the exhibition and our annual fundraising gala, all funds raised through ticket sales and raffle items allow Candela to purchase select works from the exhibition. Works acquired by the event proceeds are then added to the Collection.
The mission of the Candela Collection is to support UnBound! artists through the purchase of works from the exhibition and to actively pursue opportunities to donate said works to notable permanent collections. The Candela Collection currently includes 121 photographic artworks and artist books.
WAYS TO SUPPORT ARTISTS IN UNBOUND!:
Increase exposure and opportunities for participating artists by echoing the exhibition and events and come in to engage with the works in person (and bring your friends).
Give to the UnBound! Fund, which goes to purchasing select works for the growing collection. This collection will be donated to a permanent collection - a career boost for artists!
Purchase a piece from the show, growing your personal collection and supporting an artist directly.
Get a ticket (or a table) to the annual fundraising gala. The profits from all door tickets and party/raffle tickets, go to the UnBound! Fund for acquiring new Collection pieces. (Candela does not profit from the acquisition of any works for the Candela Collection).
